PESHAWAR: Twelve militants were killed when jet fighters targeted militant hideouts in the Orakzai tribal region, DawnNews reported.
Six suspected militants were also injured in the military action.
Government sources said security forces also destroyed three militant hideouts in the latest assault in upper Orakzai.
Troops claim to have secured most of central and lower Orakzai and are currently battling against militants holed up in upper Orakzai. — DawnNews
