Angelina Jolie made a trip to Haiti over the weekend. The actress and United Nations goodwill ambassador was in the capital Saturday for meetings with President René Préval. She was also checking up on children who have been left homeless and orphaned by the Jan. 12 earthquake.Before that, Angelina was in Ecuador visiting Dona Marianela (shown here). According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Jolie met Marianela eight years ago when she fled from conflict in Colombia to start a new life in Ecuador.
